What ANQA is working towards, and how those objectives turn into programmes, intakes and the criteria an application is read against.
Five objectives the programme's own decisions are measured against — not slogans.
That a woman takes her project from an idea or occasional work to a steady income she runs herself, through sustained practical support rather than a passing consultation.
That applications are compared within the same intake and against the same criteria, and that every decision has a written reason behind it.
That every supported project whose owner agrees has a public page people can read, so the programme is judged by what it produced rather than by what it promised.
That no participant's name, photograph or contact detail is ever published without her explicit consent, which she can withdraw at any time.
That what earlier intakes learned becomes material and tools later intakes can use, instead of starting over each time.
